Simple Barrels

Introduction

Simple Barrels was created around 10 years ago to cover the need for a storage mod that allowed us to store lots of resources of a single type. It was a lot of fun to build and I was fortunate enough to have this mod featured in several modpacks. Unfortunately I burned out building mods. The return on the volume of mods I was building and managing was just too low to be sustainable and I had to work in a role that left little time to continue, so I struggled to continue releasing updates. I attempted to release for 1.12 and 1.14 but never got far enough for a release. Fast forward to today and I now work as a web developer and I'm finally able to fit modding into my schedule. Bringing this mod back has been fun. It may not be as popular as it was but I thought it was important to bring this mod back before the others.

Roadmap

As mods are ported to 26.1+ that add wood types, I'll add support for them.

There was also a plan to support liquid barrels.

I will also add an integration with one of my other mods that will give players power storage too
