Not everyone has an idea for the next great new game. Not everyone has the budget for a bespoke game built from scratch. That's where my second service comes in. I am currently building out a series of game frameworks. They are mostly complete games that have minimal artwork and functionality. They are this way so that you can fill in the blanks.
Take the example of the platformer. Are there moving map elements? Does the camera follow the player or is the game split into rooms? Does the player solve puzzles or shoot stuff. Can the player double jump? Is there health? How does the scoring work? These are all configurable on the platform framework. I will be posting basic versions of all the game frameworks available soon. This will allow you to play test the games before purchasing. If you want to pay an artist to create the artwork for your game then you can bring your own artist on board or I can recruit one for you. If art is not your main concern then I can produce artwork to a standard that while is not the next Stardew Valley, will certainly allow you to release a complete game.
A complete game with custom mechanics (there is a limit here but its much easier to implement these features than build everything from scratch). You get the source code. You get the game compiled for 1 platform. You get all art assets. Localisation to other platforms can be offered on a case by case basis. It really depends on how much time is left at the end of the development cycle as to wether we can fit another platform in. You get to do whatever you want with the game. You can sell it. You can put it on steam. The preference is that I am able to promote this service using projects created for it. If this is not ideal then we can arrange an NDA.
